I am very happy to announce that I am part of an exciting new venture called Art Cumbria.

Art Cumbria’s aim is to offer local artists in the north west area a full schedule of well organised high quality art fairs throughout the year at high profile venues in and around Cumbria offering art lovers and collectors the chance to meet and view original work & prints from some of the best artists in the local area.

Artists can take part in as many or as few events as they like and we are even arranging a number of pop-up events around the area where artists can submit up to 5 small pieces of work for exhibition/sale without actually having to be there themselves on the day.

These art fairs are exclusively for Painters & Printmakers from the northwest (mainly Cumbria) making them unique as most if not all of the other Art fairs in the area tend to concentrate mainly on crafts. We currently have a number of events planned at Holker Hall and Greenland’s Farm Village and are about to embark on a massive internet marketing & social media campaign to increase awareness of these events, leaflets & posters will be displayed in a large number of venues across the Cumbria & Lancashire areas including local galleries, tourist information centres, local attractions to name just a few and we will also be pushing for local press & radio coverage.
