Greg Howard is a professional fine artist specialising in atmospheric, dramatic landscapes in watercolour & soft pastel. His work can be found in collections worldwide and he is a sought after tutor due to his easy going, informative no nonsense approach to the medium.

Each year Fabriano, Italy, holds a prestigious international artistic exhibition dedicated to watercolour painting, FabrianoInAcquarello (“Fabriano in Watercolour”). For four weeks in spring, the historic town of Fabriano, birthplace of Fabriano watercolour paper, is transformed into an international art gallery, with exhibitions throughout the town in museums, libraries, opera houses, and churches. It is without a doubt one of the largest and most prestigious watercolour exhibitions in the world.

As a member of IWS England I was given the chance this year to enter a small number of paintings to be considered for inclusion in this fantastic exhibition. The paintings were to be selected by an independant international panel of judges made of some of the modern day masters of the watercolour medium and I am very happy to say that I was one of only 15 watercolour artist from England to have been selected to take part in this years exhibition.

This year the main Fabriano in Watercolour event will be held between April21st-24th but the exhibition will continue until May 15th. These are the three watercolour paintings that I will have on display:
