Derbyshire & Peak District WatercolourLandscape Paintings

I lived in Chesterfield in Derbyshire for over ten years and as a result the rugged landscape of Derbyshire and the Peak District has featured in a number of my paintings and still holds a special place in my heart.

Whether it be a tranquil little corner in one of the Derbyshire dales or a vista of the wild moorland of the dark peak there is always a deserving subject waiting to be painted and plenty of inspiration which probably explains why so many fantastic artists have made their home in the area.

Here is a selection of some of the Derbyshire watercolour paintings I have done recently.
