I have found through speaking to hundreds of people over the years who have ‘given watercolour a go’ at some point that nine times out of ten the reason so many people struggle with watercolour is completely down to the way they have been taught and I’ve helped many of them realise that just by changing a few simple things they can get much better results very often in just a few short weeks!

I am not exactly conventional in my approach to the medium and some of the techniques I use send traditional purist watercolour painters running for the hills screaming in revulsion but it is that willingness to show people how breaking the rules can get them results that ensures my workshops sell out every year and why I get asked back to art clubs time & time again to demonstrate my approach to the medium.

Simply put I teach people an approach that uses simple techniques to get fantastic results quickly and help remove all the confusion and needless clutter that surround this medium so you can actually enjoy painting with watercolour rather than be constantly stressing that you are doing it wrong.
