A Quiet Spot II
As kids lots of us dreamt of one day living in a log cabin in the woods at the bottom of the mountains (some of us still do) where it was just us and nature. We would have fish for breakfast caught from the river and every night we would build a fire and sit out under the stars eating our venison and rabbit stew provided courtesy of the forest. You would watch each season pass by with it's own delights especially autumn when the woodland comes alive with a flourish of colour...sounds lovely doesn't it.
Well for those of you who didn't quite get the dream and are currently living in a semi in London or Manchester somewhere where there are few trees and you can't actually see the stars because of the light pollution here's a painting that will take you there for those days when you just want to visit that special childhood dream again.
