A Walk Up The Beck

Yes I know, more waterfalls! But I just can't help myself as they provide such a fantastic subject to paint and as you might know I have a bit of an addiction to being around them - Very good for the soul!
This painting is based on my recollections of a day spent out walking around the Coniston area in particular around Torver Beck.
Torver Beck is a beck that makes it's way down from the slopes of Coniston Old Man finally discharging into Coniston water at Sunny Bank. It provides a nice way to spend a few hours when maybe the higher slopes are clagged in and can be particularly impressive after a few days of rain (so basically anytime!😂🤣). Further up you can also see the fantastic waterfall that drops into the old Banishead Quarry - well worth a visit!

I offer worldwide shipping using tracked services from a range of carefully selected couriers.  If you are lucky enough to live here in the U.K and spend over £30 I'll also give you FREE delivery!

The original watercolour painting is approx 510mm x 360mm and is available either framed or unframed.

This image is also available in the following formats:
