Title: A Winter Morning In Wasdale – Original Watercolour Painting. This image is also available as a high quality Limited Edition Giclee Print. Painted by U.K professional artist Greg Howard
A Winter Morning In Wasdale
One of my favourite places in the Lake District and I have many but Wasdale just seems to keep drawing me back. This whole area is beautiful whatever time of year you visit it but there is something particularly enchanting about the place during the winter months when the snow and ice become a regular feature in the landscape and there are (hopefully) less people around.
This is my attempt to capture the particularly wonderful atmosphere you get on the shores of Wast Water on a cold frosty winter morning when the cloud hangs low over the peaks.
The original watercolour painting is approx 510mm x 360mm and is available either framed or unframed.
