An Early Start

Like many of you the reason I love climbing mountains is for the solitude they provide that gives you space to reflect and just be for a few hours.  And while it is nice to have company for a walk, sometimes it's so much more enjoyable when it's just you and the empty path in front of you winding it's way up the mountain.
These days though as everything becomes that little bit more accessible and more people discover the draw of fell walking it has become that little bit more difficult to find those empty paths that we all remember from years gone by.
However if you're prepared to get up a little bit earlier to beat the crowds you will find not only do you have more chance of being the only one on the fell but you will also get the early morning light which just elevates the whole experience to a different level - definitely worth sacrificing that extra hour or two snuggled under the duvet.
It would also be remiss of me not too mention the extra bonuses you receive from putting in that extra effort which include being able to park the car at the start of your walk rather than 2 miles down the road and getting to the pub for your post walk pint before anyone else does!

I offer worldwide shipping using tracked services from a range of carefully selected couriers.  If you are lucky enough to live here in the U.K and spend over £30 I'll also give you FREE delivery!

The original watercolour painting is approx 510mm x 360mm and is available either framed or unframed.
