Autumn Day At Ashness Bridge

Any landscape painter who has been painting for any length of time will have heard the term 'pot boilers'. This is the term that we all use to refer to certain views in different areas of the country that have been painted to death.  Here in the Lake District the obvious one is the three peaks at the end of Wasdale - anyone who has held a brush or a camera for more than two minutes has had a go at that one!
Another such view would be the view looking down on Ashness bridge and across Derwent water to Skiddaw.
What I like to do every now and again is visit one of those areas and select a different view point - like this one!  This is the view looking back up at Ashness bridge!  Same place, completely different view but one I'm sure you will agree is just as fine.
I offer worldwide shipping using tracked services from a range of carefully selected couriers.  If you are lucky enough to live here in the U.K and spend over £30 I'll also give you FREE delivery!

The original watercolour painting is approx 510mm x 360mm and is available either framed or unframed.
