Bay Crossing I
Every year at certain times when the tide is low there are several charities and organisations that organise a series of guided walks across the sands of Morecambe Bay.
These walks are a fantastic way to enjoy the bay and an experience I highly recommend everyone who visits the area takes part in at some point. If you want more information about these walks just type the term 'cross bay walks' into your search engine and you will be able to find all the details you need.
Please note that it goes without saying the sands of Morecambe Bay are highly dangerous and if you are going to attempt a cross bay walk make sure that you join one of the organised walks that has a qualified local guide leading it.
