The lake district is a magical place to be regardless of the weather and that applies to the various town & villages that you will find in the area. Keswick is a perfect example of this because regardless of how bad the weather is Keswick is always bustling.
I love Keswick it is one of my favourite towns in the area and I will make any excuse to visit - coincidentally though more often than not it always seems to be raining when I am there.
