Nothing says spring like wild flowers and Bluebells are one of the U.K’s iconic wild flowers. They also by extension are one of the U.K artists favourite flowers to paint. This painting is about that first solitary walk in the woods just as the bluebells are flowering and the wonderful feeling that you get by reconnecting with nature after another long, cold winter.
I couldn’t just paint this subject the same as everyone else though so this painting is another that utilises the metallic properties of Daniel Smith iridescent colours so the Bluebells really take on a life of their own!
The original watercolour painting is 350mm x 250mm and is available either framed or unframed.
