Title: Calm – Original Watercolour Painting by UK artist Greg Howard. Also available as a high quality Limited Edition Giclee Print
Calm
This painting is a little bit of a departure from the norm for me but I hope you like it anyway.
I had the idea for a very simple composition based on my recollection of a little fishing village on the east coast of Scotland I remember visiting. It was an eerily calm day and there was barely a ripple to be seen on the water which is why it stuck in my memory. Usually it's blowing a hoolie whenever I visit that part of the country so this was a welcome if slightly unsettling change.
I thought the simple composition & muted colours would look good balanced with a colourful sunset.
I think it's worked pretty well and may look at doing a series of these type of paintings at some point in the future.
I offer worldwide shipping using tracked services from a range of carefully selected couriers. If you are lucky enough to live here in the U.K and spend over £30 I'll also give you FREE delivery!
The original watercolour painting is approx 510mm x 360mm and is available either framed or unframed.
