I love a walk and it is made even better if a body of water is included in that walk somewhere whether that be a river or a mountain tarn. Water seems to have a calming effect on all those who actively seek it out and I am definitely one of those people. If you are ever stressed then go and have a walk along the river bank or go and sit by a lake side for a while and you will feel the calming effect this has for yourself.
This painting is my impression of the best time to be by the water which in my opinion is early morning on a frosty day just before the morning mist clears when if you are really lucky you will be the only one there to enjoy the tranquillity.
The original watercolour painting is 530mm x 340mm and is available either framed or unframed.
