Title: Moonlight – Original Soft Pastel Painting. This image is also available as a high quality Limited Edition Giclee Print. Painted by U.K professional artist Greg Howard
This was one of those inspired moments when everything just worked. I looked at the black pastel paper and had a vision of this remote old farm cottage tucked in amongst the trees overlooked by these majestic crags that seem to have a light of their own when the moon is out. A little bit like those pictures you see of Ley lines in the landscape.
It didn't take very long to do this as the idea was rock solid and the painting almost felt like it painted itself the image was so ingrained in my mind. It's fantastic when that happens and very often leads to a fantastic piece.
The original pastel painting is on black Canson Mi-Teintes Touch Paper 600mm x 450mm and is available either framed or unframed.
