Moortop Village II

Description

There are hundreds if not thousands of tiny little villages across rural Britain. These villages can at times almost appear to grow out of the landscape themselves as they are usually built with local stone and materials that are sympathetic to the landscape. This can sometimes lead to the impression that the villages are indeed a part of the landscape itself and the aged appearance of the stonework and the lichen covered slate tiles on the roofs just contributes to this impression.

The original watercolour painting is 350mm x 250mm and is available either framed or unframed.

This image is also available in the following formats:

Image Sizes:

Please note the sizes provided are image sizes only and do not include mount & frame measurements. To get a rough idea of final sizes add approx. 80-90mm per side (i.e if a painting has a width of 500mm the framed painting width will be approx' 680mm).

Original Paintings:

All my original paintings are produced using only the finest materials available making them a fantastic long term investment for any art lover. The papers I use are all of the very highest quality and each and every colour used has been selected for its permanence & colour intensity.

Limited Edition Giclee Prints:

Each print or giclee is printed on high quality fine art paper using Epson HD Ultrachrome pigmented inks which are guaranteed to be lightfast for a minimum of 100 years. Each print is individually signed, dated & numbered by the artist and guaranteed to be one of an edition of either 100 or 500.

Limited Edition Cards:

I use acid-free watercolour cards with a decorative deckled edge. Each card is blank inside (no message) & comes with its own envelope presented in a re-sealable cellophane bag. Card Size: C5 (8 .25 x 5.75" / 14.8 x 21cm).

Framing:

All my framing is done to conservation standard. I usually use a white museum grade double-mount and a high quality bare-faced (natural colour) tulip wood or lime-washed ash wooden frame both of which provide a beautiful neutral colour finish that will fit with the decor in any room (please let me know if you have a preference when you place your order). Framed paintings or prints are supplied hang-ready with a quality hanging cord/wire already installed and either one or two hanging hooks depending on the size. All you need to do is to pick which wall to hang it on.
