There is nothing quite like rowing on the lake on a calm day. If you are feeling a bit stressed I highly recommend it as a form of therapy - the rowing is great exercise and you will find your stresses easing away the longer you are out there.
I also love painting these sort of scenes because on the days I can't be out on the water I just need to look at one of these paintings and it takes me right back to that calm place.
