Chee Dale is an absolute gem of a walk. Secreted in the deep folds and curves of the Upper Wye Valley this gorge walk is a definite one for the list. Just be aware that parts of the walk are inaccessible when the River Wye is high.
The stepping stones in the painting are just one of the highlights of this walk. This stretch of the river can be very muddy so when I could see to the bottom it made a definite impression so the main focus of this painting is actually the stones on the bottom of the river rather than the stepping stones themselves.
The original watercolour painting is 350mm x 250mm and is available either framed or unframed.
