Dovedale is a magical little gem of a valley that will keep pulling you back time after time. Even though the walk up the valley is not that long it is full of interest. Tissington Spires are just one of the many interesting limestone formations that have been created along the length of the valley as the river has eroded its course along the valley floor over thousands of years.
