I love Wasdale. It is one of the most atmospheric places in the Lake District, it has everything the highest mountains, the deepest lake but more importantly it has one very precious thing that is becoming very rare in the Lake District - it generally has very few tourists lol!
It is a bit of a trek to get there which is why I think is you will find that most of the people who visit this special area are true Lake District fans - not the ones that say they love it when they have never been anywhere further than a mile from the nearest train station.
Anyway rant over - here is a painting of this very special place!
