Learn To Paint

This Today!

White Arrow Left Down

Craggy Towers - Video On Demand Watercolour Workshop

Around the U.K we have our fair share of beautiful beaches but in my mind the best & most dramatic coastlines and the ones that coincidentally are great to paint are the rocky coastlines.

Sheer cliffs, towering sea stacks & jagged rocks this lesson gives you a technique that will allow you to paint them all! What’s more today’s lesson is a masterclass in how you can paint an incredibly complicated subject very quickly and simply without losing any of it’s impact.

This technique in this lesson is one of those that you will either get straight away or one that may take you a little practice to master. Either way have fun with it as it is an extremely versatile technique that will have your imagination running riot with the number of applications it can have!  I rarely produce a painting these days without using this technique somewhere.

It’s not just that it is incredibly effective but it is the fact that it lets you paint certain things that would have taken you hours before in minutes and although this lesson is just under an hour people will think the resulting painting took you weeks!

WORKSHOP DURATION:  47 Mins 09 Secs

Every workshop comes with 24-7 ONLINE LIFETIME ACCESS and can be viewed on basically any device that has an internet connection from your mobile phone right up to your smart T.V.

I want everyone who takes the workshop to be happy so I provide a full 14-day money back guarantee.

If for any reason you are not happy with the workshop you have purchased please get in touch by email to: greg@greghoward.gallery as I would like the chance to resolve any issues first.

If for any reason I can’t resolve your issue I will happily provide a full refund back to your method of payment.  (Please note refunds can take between 3-10 days to process depending on the payment method used.)

First of all for these workshops you will need your eyes & ears I always encourage students to watch the workshop first and then have a go because I record most of these workshops in just one take so any mistakes or adjustments I may make to get to the final painting are included - this way you learn more.

More importantly though I always encourage students who are new to me to approach these workshops with an open mind!

While I always try to encourage students to use their own materials I know that some of you prefer to use the same as the tutor as it is one less thing to think about. Especially when you may be trying out some new techniques. So below you will find a complete list of the materials I used to produce the painting in this workshop:

Paper:

1 x Sheet of Watercolour Paper (I used Bockingford 425gsm ROUGH 1/4 Imperial [38 x 28cm])

If you need to you can purchase paper directly from me here:

https://greghoward.gallery/art-materials/watercolour-paper/bockingford-watercolour-paper/

Paints:

I use Daniel Smith extra fine watercolours as quite frankly they are in my opinion the best on the planet however I know that some of you may not have access to these so where appropriate I have included a substitute colour that may be more readily available to you.

Suggested Colours: Hansa Yellow Light, Green Gold, Carbazole Violet (sub. Winsor or Dioxazine Violet), Bloodstone Genuine, Naples Yellow, Paynes Grey, Indigo, Burnt Sienna

If you fancy getting yourself a few tubes of these fantastic watercolours you can find the colours I use here:
