The Devils Headland - Video On Demand Watercolour Workshop

This hour-long watercolour painting workshop takes you to the Devil’s Headland!

Stormy skies, tumultuous seas, towering cliffs, jagged rocks, lightning, light houses and even a fishing boat and atmosphere & drama by the bucket full or should I say by the boat-load. This painting has it all!

This workshop shows you how to create a painting with oodle’s of atmosphere, drama and a great focal point and will add a host of creative watercolour techniques to your arsenal.

The workshop will also teach you about the very, very important concept of connection in your paintings. Without connection your paintings will never be successful – Yes, it’s that important!

A common problem amongst painters especially newer ones is the need to fiddle and fiddling kills connection in your paintings.  So in this exciting workshop I will show you how to master connection by letting the wonderful medium of watercolour do as much of the work for you as possible thus allowing you to keep your focus on the big picture rather than faffing about with lots of detail.

WORKSHOP DURATION:  59 Mins 18 Secs

Every workshop comes with 24-7 ONLINE LIFETIME ACCESS and can be viewed on basically any device that has an internet connection from your mobile phone right up to your smart T.V.

I want everyone who takes the workshop to be happy so I provide a full 14-day money back guarantee.

If for any reason you are not happy with the workshop you have purchased please get in touch by email to: greg@greghoward.gallery as I would like the chance to resolve any issues first.

If for any reason I can’t resolve your issue I will happily provide a full refund back to your method of payment.  (Please note refunds can take between 3-10 days to process depending on the payment method used.)

First of all for these workshops you will need your eyes & ears I always encourage students to watch the workshop first and then have a go because I record most of these workshops in just one take so any mistakes or adjustments I may make to get to the final painting are included - this way you learn more.

More importantly though I always encourage students who are new to me to approach these workshops with an open mind!

While I always try to encourage students to use their own materials I know that some of you prefer to use the same as the tutor as it is one less thing to think about. Especially when you may be trying out some new techniques. So below you will find a complete list of the materials I used to produce the painting in this workshop:

Paper:

1 x Sheet of Watercolour Paper (I used Bockingford 425gsm ROUGH 1/4 Imperial [38 x 28cm])

If you need to you can purchase paper directly from me here:

Paints:

I use Daniel Smith extra fine watercolours as quite frankly they are in my opinion the best on the planet however I know that some of you may not have access to these so where appropriate I have included a substitute colour that may be more readily available to you.

Suggested Colours: Naples Yellow, Bloodstone Genuine, Indigo, Carbazole Violet (sub’ Dioxazine/Winsor Violet), Paynes Grey, Isoindoline Yellow (sub’ Cadmium Orange), Cobalt Teal Blue

If you fancy getting yourself a few tubes of these fantastic watercolours you can find the colours I use here:
